I highly recommend Purple Mountain Radon! Brian did an excellent job, provided outstanding customer service, and had impeccable attention-to-detail. During the initial walk-through he thoroughly answered all my questions and he was able to customize a high-performance design that accommodated my request for placement of the fan and vent pipe for aesthetics. I did my homework and received four quotes for this radon mitigation project. Purple Mountain Radon’s proposal was not only the all-around best one for many reasons, but it was also the cheapest. On installation day Brian worked incredibly hard all day (even after the sun went down), and I didn’t even see him take a break. He is a self-admitted perfectionist and didn’t like the way the vent pipe bent around the eave at the top of the roofline. So he came back the next day and redid that section. That’s the sign of a professional contractor who takes pride in his work and will do the job right. From the beginning of the project, I was very concerned about the possibility that the fan would be so loud I would constantly hear it through the wall to my office where I work every day. Brian went above and beyond and took extra steps to reduce the possibility of fan noise, which involved another trip out to my house. I am extremely happy with the results! Prior to the radon mitigation system Brian installed, the radon level in our house measured 9.5 pCi/L. The post-mitigation level was 1.4 pCi/L.
