Photo Album: Radon Mitigation in Colorado Springs, CO
Colorado Springs home built in 1973. Split level with crawlspace and garden level slab. Traditional method of mitigating is to encapsulate the crawlspace and install a suction point in the slab. An alternate method is to install a RadonWell in the crawlspace below footing level that extends pressure field to include the crawlspace and slab.
Radonwell
The radonwell was buried about 29 inches deep inside the crawlspace adjacent to the garden level slab. The top of the radonwell was about 20" below the surface.
