Colorado Springs home with crawlspace. To mitigate this home of radon Purple Mountain Radon encapsulated the crawlspace and attached a depressurization system beneath the barrier.  Because the furnace is located in the crawlspace, we encapsulated the crawlspace with a 12 mil barrier throughout, except for the area where the furnace sits; in this area additional foot traffic can be expected and we put down a 20 mil barrier for the homeowner.
